We were soon to learn from the local gardeners that a late frost and unseasonal rain had resulted in a much reduced cherry crop which burst before ripening. A Neighbour had only managed a basket full compared to the weeks multiple baskets a day last year.
Then yesterday a vicious windstorm struck scattering the garden furniture.

A broken chair and table were small compared to disruptions to the TGV and roves ripped from houses in the area.
So hoping for better weather, it after all almost mid summer in Paris!
