After being collected at the le Creusot Montceau station and driven to the House at Le Gros Chigy, it was peculiar seeing the house we had looked at and thought about over the last months in the flesh for the first time since the two or three buying visits In May!
Following that a big lunch with family and later a bottle of Crémant de Bourgogne with Saucisson and bread it was off to bed.
But the might didn't turn out that well as the bed given by family turned out to be uncomfortable. This brought home the need for good beds to enjoy our times here and if we are going to attract guests.
The silence and the tranquil countryside the next morning with coffee and croissant more than compensating for a poor night!
The next few days are going to focus on furnishing and organising, whereafter se modification and decorating will probably begin!
